I love the original, that was the version I grew up with. However, this is excellent.

Very nice. Makes me think of "Breaking up is Hard to Do", which Sedaka first did as a jaunty pop song, and later, in the mid-70s, reimagined it as a sultry ballad.

Almost maybe even better than the1961 version

I had this version on an EP and came to love it as much as the original faster version. It is a monumental song and Del delivers it with such passion.

Bought this on the album "And The Music Plays On" in the seventies and loved all of it. I still love the original and The Live In England version too.

this is how I first heard runaway back in the 1970s and I still say this is the best version
