Born in Denver, CO in 1965... It was "paradise" for a few decades.....sadly not the same. Thank you John Denver for your beautiful music and homage to our beloved, peaceful Colorado. RIP John Denver.

Can imagine a flight from L.A. to Denver and to drive back west to Aspen for 3 hours. Could have told the pilot to let him out and skydived home before descent.Was lucky to have my mom and I see him at Red Rocks when I was 8 and 9. Rest in Peace John.

Starwood in Aspen is one of the most beautiful songs i have ever listened to. I love listening to this song on lazy sunday evenings. This is a cozy song that makes you feel good and happy and appreciate the beauty of life.

While in Germany in 1978, one of the Guy s in Our Section wanted out and I was chose to drive Him to the Airport. We both cried as He relayed to me the concert He has seen that weekend. Kevin was a real nice person,  He just wanted to go Home to Denver. GOD BLESS!!!

John was greatly loved here in the UK. Everybody I knew had his LPs and people just adored his sweet voice and beautiful songs. He gave us a picture of his beloved home and his songs are soul fillers in a harsh and complicated world.
