Mr. Lopez, Thank you so much for this. I have everything that she ever recorded. That includes private and rare things that have never been released. The sound of this is so clean, clear and salubrious. What kind of system are you playing this on? The sound is absolutely amazing. Please share what kind of eqiupment this is. I have rarely heard her voice sound better than what you have recorded here.

Hi SteveM, The "Lurlean Hunter" Lp is really just another title for "Lonesome Gal" which was her 1st Lp. "The Velvet Voice" is a compilation of all 4 Lps in one set remastered and released by the Spanish label Fresh Sounds.
This release is an excellent one and is only surpassed by the individual Japanese releases of each Lp. Lonesome Gal was reissued by the Japanese but only in vinyl format.
