I know the Drifters and The Colts had hits, with this song, this is my favorite version. It was actually the B side to Daddy O.

I actually like this better than The Colts or The Drifters, but it also sounds like the 40s. Would love to hear what is would sound like by a group today. Keep your eyes open for some original bios on The Colts, Platters, Dell-Tones, Blockbusters and more on your e-readers and e-reader apps available around Christmas.

I loved The Fontane Sisters. I was young and loved all their singles. They got quite a bit of airplay on Top 40 back then. "Adorable" is one of my favorites. By 1959 they wanted to retire and get out of the business (they had always kept a very low profile). They told Randy Wood (at Dot Records) they wanted to quit recording (as they did mostly covers and were tired). They did stop, but Dot had several sessions unreleased and kept releasing records by them till 1963. They appeared across the Country in many clubs etc. back in the day. All 3 of them have passed away. Very Nice Post!!

My mom had this 45. I used to play it all the time. The flip side was Daddyo. Great memories. Thank you!
