TSOL, in transition... Loved this band.

I think I was probably the only one out my little group of friends at the time who actually LIKED Beneath The Shadows when it first came out, or at least the only one who openly admitted it. Most of my friends and other people I knew back then really hated this album at the time. I mean violently fucking HATED it. I remember all the “There’s fucking keyboards on it! Sell-outs!” moaning. Funny thing is, those same people (for the most part) now either like or even LOVE this album, or at least now they finally feel ok enough with themselves to admit it. And I got to say “See? I told you so, fuckers”.

Beneath The Shadows and Change Today are my 2 favorite TSOL albums. I never gave them the chance for years and primarily listened to Dance With Me and the first EP, but when I warmed up to that stuff, they became my favorites.

Great.From what I understand alot of hardcore punks hated this record.I love it.

Nothing "cheesy" about this song at all. Its perfect, particular when you consider that it was created by a bunch of musicians not much older than teenagers at the time. One of the greatest instrumentals ever made.
