When I was 17, I was pretty stupid. Long story short, I ended up tripping off of a quarter of shrooms with my best friend. It was fun at first but took a turn for the worst. I ended up having an extremely bad trip, and nothing felt right; let alone real, for a long long time afterwards. I had ended up getting in a relationship with my girlfriend around the same time all this happened. I was so paranoid during that trip that I was going to somehow die. Still fucked with me for almost a year afterwards. We’ve almost been together for two years now, and I’m no longer bugged by the thought of that trip. I don’t fuck with any psychedelics anymore, I just smoke weed lol. This song helped me out through a pretty dark time, so thank you Jesse Lacey and the rest of brand new. Don’t do drugs kids.
