Haha! I have that same Decca LP of Savitt. Lots of great tracks on there. He also did an excellent TUXEDO JUNCTION, but I do not recall if it is on that LP.

I have this recording by Teddy Lee & His Orchestra ... from the Chicago area. I had never heard this song before I bought their CD ... but love it! What a toe tapper! Thanks for the post -- enjoyed hearing the Top Hatters -- they really swing!

Russian-born Jan Savitt was a classically-trained violinist who developed this well-known swing orchestra. Very unfortunate that he died so young at age 41 in 1948.
