A bit of history this tune was brought back to life by the late great selector Michael Jones the original Diamonds the girls best friend selector who was given the tune by Micky Red aka Michael Spratt who has a formidable record selection Michael Jones played the tune in one of the blues dances and the place rocked years later Chris Peckings took the same Maytals tune looped it in the studio and put out various versions on the Peckings label most of them hits. A lot of people never get the credit the deserve Chris Peckings was going to call the ridim track the Michael Jones ridim bcos he knew that Michael loved the tune from Michael Spratt borrowed him the record to play on the sound.Bless
