Brian Coll covered this song on a double vinyl album he brought out back in the 1980’s. He was an avid Slim Whitman fan. I remember talking to a girl in work and she mentioned that she had a Slim Whitman song on a 78 record - the old gramaphone records which if dropped just broke. She gave it to me which I passed on to Brian Coll and he then recorded it. Its a lovely rendition of it and worth listening to.
