I was at the gym yesterday and there was this guy with a mouth mask like the one bane has, wrapped in an American flag. He was following me around everywhere and breathing like a maniac, so I decided to walk into the private room to cool down and get away from the weirdo. This song came on my playlist. I was doing pushups and it reached the part about the "I am the shadow in the dark, I have your blood inside my heart" and I immediately realized it was about his kid and I started bawling. I had no clue where it came from, other than it hit me really hard as a dad, and I felt really embarrassed. The same monster guy FUCKING walked into the room. So I promptly composed myself and left the gym for the day feeling really confused.

Damn I love this. They really should remaster it though. Keep everything the same, just clean up the vocals so it has less of an echo.
