So much more sophisticated than the doowop version of Gloria, but they are both great. Are they the same song - well, yes and no, but mostly yes in my opinion.

Being a hardcore Doowopper,,and growing up with the Cadilacs version being the doowop classic,fhat other groups rated themselves to..This was a refreshing pre-doowop experience..The Mills Bros,,were indeed a smooth group..DZ from the bean

Great download of the Leon Rene song "Gloria".Seven years later it was sung by the Cadillacs in 1954.Though not the same sound,both of these groups sang the best version of the song.The Mills Brothers and the Cadillacs,GREAT SINGING GROUPS!!

Love this version. Tugs at the heart. Music was soooo much better back then.
