I fell in love with this as a little girl. Simply awesome. Has anyone ever did any transcriptions of it?

The Minor Blues, played by Wes, in the company of Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Grady Tate......and equal billing should go to producer Creed Taylor, who was smart enough to realize he was creating a market for something new, and to arranger and conductor (THE MIGHTY) Don Sebesky, whose work here actually creates the presence of a fifth player, the Orchestra, in the studio.(Incidentally, I love the cracks and pops from the original vinyl... music like this should always be listened to late at night, with such surface noise, or the static of an AM radio from a very distant, very hip station...)

George Benson might not be the man he is today, musically, without Wes. Wes was a huge influence on many guitarists that perform smooth jazz.
