Greta Van Fleet likes this song. You can bypass Zeppelin and say they copied this sound if you want.

Willie Dixon is the blues. He’s not trying to put his touch or his signature licks to a blues song. This is man is the blues. Every note, every scale, every bend, every slide, every melody that is now known to be blues, this man created that BLUE PRINT. There is always only one that always sets the tone and they always make it so that everybody else just follows. That’s just how it’s always been, and that’s just how it will always be. The ones that lead the way are always the ones that are willing to share the path so that anybody can follow. The ones who try to keep it as there own are the ones who stay stuck on there greedy path to nowhere, all alone.

Yes zep ripped this tune and a lot of others off but if you read buddy guys book he explains how willie took the song writing credits for many songs he, in fact, did not write. In those days the old school guys didnt give a shit about ripping each other off if they could get away with it.

I don’t know why Zep gets so ragged on for covering blues songs. Every band does it. Maybe it’s just pure jealously. The fact that most of the time Zep just played the song so ugh better than anyone.
