Al Hibbler caught my attention at a young age. And the cockney tone in "When The Lights Go Down Low" made my dad think Al was white. Al Hibbler sang a pretty song.

Remember my dad buying this on 78rpm back in 1955 a lifetime ago.

Today is the first time I ever heard his version. This is now my favorite one. :)
