This song really helped me through my journey. I remember being in ninth grade and feeling disoriented about my gender identity and feeling that I needed to conform to either feminine or masculine. I thought at the time that I may be transgender. About four years later, I’ve found that I am two spirited (note that I am Native American). It feels right to me. This song makes me nostalgic when I think back to my life a few years back and how I was struggling. I’ve rambled on enough, but this song will forever be engrained in my mind!
