Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind, but now I see
T’was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home
The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail
And mortal life shall cease
I shall possess within the veil
A life of joy and peace
When we’ve been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’ve first begun
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind, but now I see
The first time I heard "Home Where I Belong" in 1994 when I was going through a very dark, dangerous valley. It was very touch-and-go. To tell the truth, more "go" than "touch" for a few days. To make a long story short, a few churches in my home town were praying for me. Then, the healthcare workers ASKED me they could PRAY for me. My husband and I agreed. To make a long story short, God healed me. The baby I was pregnant with lived and thrived, although he was almost eleven weeks premature. I vowed that if I made it, I would tell others about what God did for me!
Thank you BJ for coming to my life when you did. The Holy Spirit used you threw your gospel music to lead me back home. I love you B and God bless you.
