I don’t want no Cadillac
One I got, I’m gonna take it back
Come out the house, early in the mornin'
Both flat tires, didn’t give me no warnin'
Ooh, ooh, Cadillac
Looked in the trunk, there wasn’t no jack
You know I’m gonna take this Cadillac back
Willie an-a Lillie come a-walkin' up the street
Doin' a little wiggle, makin' fun of me
Ooh, ooh, Cadillac
(Yeah)
(Instrumental & tenor sax)
Come to the car but the car wouldn’t start
Cadillac is breakin' my heart
Got it started, pulled in empty on drive
Keys to believe in natural lies.
(Ooh, ooh) Cadillac
(Yeah-ay)
(Instrumental and sax to fade end)
bo used the same riff over and over as well, so did the stones (satisfaction / jack flash), muddy waters had his own riff too which he re-used constantly, these guys werent thinking in terms of originality, they were playing to entertain mostly black audiences at dances, makin people shake and hollar was their currency. then they crossed over with a little help from elvis. but the thing is the sound they created was the blueprint for rock n roll
