You damn right, I’ve got the blues
From my head down to my shoes
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
From my head down to my shoes
I can’t win, cause I don’t have a thing to lose
I stopped by my daughters house
You know I just want to use the phone
I stopped by my daughters house
You know I just want to use the phone
You know my new grand baby came to the door
And said, granddaddy you know ain’t no one at home
I said now look out
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
From my head down to my shoes
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
From my head down to my shoes
You know I can’t win, now people
Cause I don’t have a thing to lose
Alright
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
You damn right, I’ve got the blues
Yeah
The last living Blues God. Jesus.. Rude.. Nasty... Sexy... I mean its all there... Listen to that riff.. Jimi Hendrix stole his over the head guitar playing from Buddy. Eric Clapton wants to be him... Its beautiful.. sexy... the realest music you can touch... feel it.. goddamn.
The incomparable Buddy Guy on what should be his signature tune. This is bringing back great memories of seeing Buddy live at the De Montfort Hall Leicester years ago ,climbing off the stage and playing his way all the way up the right hand aisle, across the back of the stalls and down the left hand aisle,it took him about 15 minutes.A Great Performer in every sense !!
man i read all of these comments as the thought crosses my mind that the blues are dying then i see this and it brings me alittle more hope in humanity
