Very special lady with unmistakeable voice. I do believe that if there was music like this playing around the clock seven days a week we would have more LOVE in this world. Lots of trash music out there do not convey the Love aspect of life. Chris Connor was able to communicate with society in a loving way. Rest in Peace Chris Connor.

The phrasing she does in this rendition gets me thinking of the lyrics differently! This is just the third song by her I have ever knowingly listened to and I am about to go on a binge of all that is on here. I also just heard her doing a song when she was older for which another commenter said her voice "darkened" is a phrase used about opera singing. Wow.
