as a SOUTHERN irish citizen, i have no problem whatsoever with this version.it was, i believe, composed by a scottish woman or scottish  man.and the words were penned by an englishman called ~Weatherly.but most of here in ALL ireland maintain it was composed by an Irish guy. iN DUBLIN, they probably think it was a fucking Dub who composed it!!
