I had just moved to Worcester, MA to start a new job in 1985, and i went walking one night to familiarize myself with the town. I passed a Unitarian church and heard this music wafting from the basement. I was curious so i investigated. It was Dave Van Ronk. I was not familiar with him at the time. A very small audience. Probably 25 people. He played for 2 hours. A very funny and talented man. Enjoyed myself immensely.
