It is no surprise that Ahmet Ertegun had this riff in "Mess Around." He and his brother used to go see Jelly Roll Morton perform in Washington DC when their father was a Turkish diplomat stationed there.

I really like the rhythm of this arrangement and the tempo, makes it impossible not to want to move and shake.I bought a piano book with this tune and have worked on it for a couple of weeks but it is not easy to play for me.I am taking it very slowly , maybe in a year I can play it if I keep practicing....
