Blackgeoff, I do concur with your comments. Additionally, he does not get the credit he so richly deserves on flute as well as on saxophone as a result . He hated the politics and complexities coming from the record Labels, I guess. I place him right up there on the flute with Frank Wess, Eric Dixon, Buddy Collett, Moe Koeffman, and Eric Dolphy, all of whom - now deceased - were also great saxophone players. Thanks for posting!
