My dad played Jimmie Rodgers constantly and would even do a little guitar work and sing along while sitting outside in the evening. Jimmie Rogers music was around me from birth.

My grandfather grew up in the depression era and knew all of his songs in his short life, died from TB. When I became a teen I was shocked to know that the Rolling Stones, Waylon Jennings, Lynard Skynard and a BUNCH more all got inspiration from Jimmie ! Listen to Skynard do this song sometime....... Still love it today.
