I love this album, especially if you put it into context. Joe driving around L.A. in a cadillac in the late 1980s as he soaked up the scene. You can even hear some early Red Hot Chili Pepper influences, the old pepper drummer Jack Irons is on the album. As a Clash fan from California I find it fascinating that Joe was here and this album captures that period.

Like most of the other comments, I thought this was a great album...some of my favourite songs and BRILLIANT lyrics throughout...I thought King of the Bayou would have been a cool live song but not sure if he ever played that?

I just bought the original 1989 cd pressing of Earthquake Weather off ebay. Amazon has been selling their own manufactured CDR version which is garbage.
