I know it,s a bit off topic but another religious 78 a 12 inch 1933 recording , a Hymn for the consecration of Liverpool Cathedral became the rarest post world war 1 McCormack disc.A picture of the Catholic Bishop in traditional purple and McCormack-only 300 copies issued-I,ve a copy.Liverpool 7 years later was badly blitzed by the Germans in 1940/41 but the cathedral survived.

Just imagine, had the Titanic sunk 100 years later, in 2012 rather than in 1912, would the doomed passengers be sitting around sing rap songs as they awaited their inevitable destiny?
