I saw Larry play Stravinsky many years ago with his 12-string adamas....splitting the strings...and doing his harmonic magic. Saw him play in Napa with a trio, and we spent some time chatting after the show. He was generous with his time, and so "present." No hurry...just a kind gentle talented genius. I was going to see him again this year...but he passed on. He was always with his time for young musicians...anyone really. I miss the guy. He was a powerful teddy bear. RIP Lars.
