As lovely a song today as it was, what, 40 year ago?. And time has brought me to the realization of what a very good voice Mason had back then - all the more impressive now, since this song was created before the advent of auto-tune and other digital trickery. Wonderful to hear it again, thanks for posting.

My favorite of his songs, beyond "Classical Gas", even if my life defies his premise. I found all the answers in one. Absent her, I would cease to be, no question. I fear the same for her. Because I would want my precious jewel to live beyond me, for a long time. For my memory, and our daughters, who need her.

Thankyou for posting. I remember this single from when it was in the lower half of the UK top 40. It received a few radio plays. Of course the more well known version on the Hand Made album has no lyrics and is more in keeping with what we expect from a guitarist. Maybe this was a little over-produced, but a very nice little song nevertheless. Almost forgotten now of course. Thanks.
