An unparalleled bass performance by a Bass Demi-God!!!!!! I first become aware of this album when in NYC my upstairs neighbor played this song on his stereo. This bass line and horn arrangement floored me. I thought it was a Miles Davis release. I ran upstairs and demanded to know who he was playing. He thought I was about to ask him to turn it down. On the contrary, I demanded to hear more. He played the full album for me and I rushed out and pick up Memory Servers by Material the very next day. Been In love with this album ever sense. Long Live Laswell!!! If you love this type of music I highly recommend Basslines by Bill Laswell, or XMarsX,
