My mom and dad used to go dancing down at the Eagles to her music. It used to play in a tiny house they owned in Kansas. They knew then as I know now, hers is the purist “talks to your soul” singer of all time. I was 6 when she died 56 years later to calm me down I just put on “The beautiful Miss Patsy Cline.” RIP and thank you!
Motown to be happy, happy, happy when I’m cooking or cleaning, and Patsy when I’m feeling nostalgic. I too grew up with her. I went on to sing all her songs in two cover bands I had. I don’t do that know but miss it a lot.
my grandparents let me borrow their cassettes recently, and I am in love with her voice. even as a teenager, I am blessed to be able to appreciate her talent.
