I was always so thankful Peter Gabriel left Genesis so he could use his full potential. While Genesis will always be one of my favorite bands, it seems when the artists break off individually, they are able to fully express themselves as individuals. I also love what Mike Rutherford did with Mike and the Mechanics. Steve Hackett firmed GTR and they did some outstanding music as well. Tony Banks has done some excellent solo stuff as well as film scores. He has done collaborations with the other Genesis members for their solo albums and stuff in his solo works as well. Anthony Phillips left and became a master learner of classical music and instruments and has done lots of work with his former members and did scores for films and tv shows. Phil Collins has also done quite well for himself as a solo artist lol.
