I would be lying that as difficult as life has been at numerous points throughout the last few decades, that I hadn’t thought of shooting-up a large dose of smack while listening to this song and permanently checking-out. This song many times can put me in that place. It can fuel my thoughts to put an end to the physical and emotional pain. Fortunately I always reconsider. A huge therapy ironically, is when I strap on my favorite Fender Stratocaster, then dial-up one of my amps to extreme levels, while playing THIS song. It makes me think about how much I love this song and dozens of other songs by The Rolling Stones, along with playing and performing. It makes me reflect on how it would suck to never hear this song (or many other songs) ever again. Most importantly, it makes me realize how much I would miss my family and how much I would hurt my family if I carried-out that act. With any luck, there will be “Winter” many more times for me.

NEVER been a HUGE Stones fan. Mick Jagger FAN -> You Betcha. One of the MOST talented vocalist I have ever witnessed. Had 2 hour notice to see him at MSG 3rd row.  Talk about RAW talent =INNATE to him. Not to take away from the band but YHEA this dude works his ass off. He can do ANYTHING country, folk, rock, etc. HE Sucks in a good way.Quivering at the end of Moonlight Mile speechless!!
