Rest in peace to original lead singer Rick Stevens of Tower of power who we lost last year. He was on the first two albums of Tower of power. And, if I’m not mistaken, he did the lead on this song as well as you’re still a young man.

Saw them live in 1973 and Garibaldi changed the hi-hat rhythm pattern to the "and" of the 8th note beat on this tune and flat KILLED it into total funk stratosphere with that change. Knocked me in the dirt on that one.
