Awwwww, bless em. Wot a blinding record. Me brother was a punk, many many moons ago, of corse, but i loved listening to his records. And this one always stuck in me mind. Great tune. Our mums dog chewed up many of his records, the rascal, but he was such a beautifull mut, wot could ya do. We used to blow some dope down the dogs nose, and ave a great laugh watching him wobble from side to side, with a BIG smile on his face. This song always reminds me of our lovely Sam. Brilliant dog and hope hes still happy now. Im sure he is.

I’ll never forget when the UK Subs show in Spokane back in 2004. It was snowing like crazy, but we were all drunk as fuck and went anyway, walking 3 miles in the snow. We got their early and went to Charlie Harper’s table and sat down. We bullshitted with Charlie for 15 minutes about being drunk. My friend kept fucking with Charlie and rubbed him the wrong way. You could tell he was super weirded out, being fucking 80 years old and all. I sat there like a Beatles fan staring at Charlie like he was Lennon, making him uncomfortable on purpose. He bought me a beer, said it was his favorite. I could tell he was tiring of us, so he got up and left – pissed! He fucking HATED us. Loved it. Finally, when Stranglehold came on later that night, I jumped on stage, grabbed his mic, and started screaming, “STRANGLEHOLD ON ME!” Then the bouncer yanked me down from the stage after ruining their best song, as I spilled beer all over everyone. It was hilarious.
