Re: Metacosmos: it seems as though you missed the point. What’s the matter? Don’t you like swingin music? Herbie’s solo is brilliantly played for a young guy of 22 years. His talent is certainly on “record” for everyone to hear, enjoy and appreciate not to mention admire. The song he wrote is an excellent vehicle for all of the band to groove and/or stretch out. Controlled, subtle swingin.
