Diamond Girl, you sure do shine. Glad I found you, glad you’re mine.
Oh my love, you’re like a precious stone, part of earth where heaven has rained
on.
Makes no difference where you are. Day or nighttime, you’re like a shinin’star.
And how could I shine without you, when it’s about you that I am?
Diamond Girl, roamin’wild. Such a rare thing, radiant child.
I could never find, another one like you. Part of me is deep down inside you.
Can’t you feel the whole world a-turin'. We are real, and we are a-burnin'.
Diamond Girl, now that I’ve found you, it’s about you that I am.
Diamond Girl, you sure do shine. Diamond Girl, you sure do shine.
Diamond Girl, you sure do shine. Diamond Girl, you sure do shine.

this great song was playing on the radio as i was on the deck with friends in the rocky mountains in colorado- i think a little pot might have even been smoked! it was warm & the pines smelled so great! i was lucky to be a teen then & to spend my summers in estes park colorado!!
Had this album in 73. I was 12, like so many of you. A little Radio Shack turntable in red white and blue. I listened to the complete album every day after school. OMG all the songs I knew by heart. S&C were so exotic to me. Their music helped a sad little girl get back to who she was after a disorienting day at school. Thanks, guys.
It’s the early to mid 1970’s and I’m just a pre teen. I’m swimming at Crossroads Pool in Imperial, Mo. The jukebox had metal buttons and the jukebox was not grounded, so when you got out of the pool, and pressed S12 for this song, you felt tiny shocks going up your fingertips to your brain! Never once thought to dry our fingers before pressing those buttons!! Ahhhh......sweet memories!!
Wish we could just freeze time to that era of music eternally,& stay those special ages forever.True musicians,& a powerfilled magical message.☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡.Thank you Jimmy,& Dash!
